Veteran Yoruba actress Peju Ogunmola has lost her only son, Ayomikun. He passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, and fans have been reacting.
The sad news was confirmed by fellow actor Odunlade Adekola, prompting an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, friends and well-wishers across social media.
Ayomikun, also known as Shina, was the only child of Peju Ogunmola and her husband, renowned comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe.

Just months ago, he wrapped up his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, a milestone that made his mother very proud.
