Popular activist and social commentator VeryDarkMan has responded to Davido flaunting another clip of his luxury car collection in what appeared to be a clapback. Recall that VDM recently blasted Davido and Burna Boy for showing off new cars despite the ongoing hardship across Nigeria.
VeryDarkMan questioned the need for such lavish spending, suggesting that their wealth can be put to better use to impact their country.
Responding, Davido shared a new clip to proudly flaunt the new cars in his garage, seemingly doubling down on what the activist criticized him for.
Unfazed by the clapback, VDM clarified that nobody should expect him to flatter any celebrity’s ego, even if they are his friends.
“Who is Davido?” he asked.

According to him, Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid are not divine beings, and it doesn’t matter how famous they are, they are still human like everyone else.
VeryDarkMan stressed that he is fully aware that he is proud and egoistic, and he is very unapologetic about it.
He concluded by saying that his pride has preserved his integrity over the years, and he will not compromise just to maintain friendships or gain approval.
In the unfiltered clip, VDM was seen eating tiger nuts, even spitting chewed bits onto his phone amid his rant.
