Popular rapper and Nollywood actor Falz has opened up on how fame has reshaped his personal relationships. He recently highlighted the shocking effects of stardom on his social life.
Speaking during an interview with VJ Adams, Falz said that even though fame has brought him into contact with more people, it has ironically reduced the number of his close friends.
According to him, his circle of friends decreased since he became famous, and it is mainly down to how complicated the lifestyle of a celebrity is.
Falz shared that the complexities and pressure that come with living as a public figure is heavy, and it eventually makes it tough to maintain old and new relationships.

The rapper emphasized that despite all of the glamour and benefits that come with stardom, the lifestyle is not always the best for building or sustaining friendships.
“My circle of friends have reduced since I became famous. Ironic because I get to meet a lot more people but my circle of friends is a lot smaller than before.
I think it is so because of how complicated this lifestyle is,” he said.
Falz’s revelation has resonated with many fans and followers who have now been offered a glimpse into the often-ignored emotional cost of being in the spotlight.
