British-Nigerian rapper Skepta has blasted those who keep telling him how to pose in pictures. He recently urged fans to stop forcing him to smile more when he uploads new photos.
It all started when a fan on X (formerly Twitter) reacted to one of his latest photos with these words “Sha dey try smile small.”
Reacting, Skepta asked the fan why he needs to do that when he is not a children’s TV show presenter.
According to him, he does not understand why anyone would feel the need to tell him how to appear in his own pictures, especially if the person is a man like him.
“Am I a children’s TV show presenter? What’s with you men keep telling me to smile in my pics? Blocked kmt,” he wrote.

A different X user wrote, “Don’t mind them. We love the mystery behind it ✨”
Replying, the rapper stated that unless someone cracks a joke just before he takes the picture, he does not understand what exactly he is expected to be smiling for.
He concluded by saying that there are no mystery with his photos, and he only focuses on looking at the camera so the photographer can do his or her thing.
“Ain’t no mystery, I’m just looking at the camera so the photographer can take his picture. Unless somebody made a joke on set… what am I smiling for?” he added.
