Ex-BBNaija housemate Angel Smith has reacted to the criticism that trailed a clip showing her sharing an intimate moment with British-Nigerian rapper and singer, Darkoo. She recently shared that people have been labelling her a lesbian since the video went viral.
Reacting via her social media page, Angel revealed that being labelled a lesbian isn’t the insult some people actually believe it to be.
According to her, it is a complete shame to see how the society that has been tolerating more serious issues like pedophilia can have something bad to say about what she does with her fellow woman.
The reality star stated that she sees the comments, and she’ll keep reminding the hypocrites who won’t mind their business that she is an adult who lives her life on her terms.
“Nigerians discover that other people don’t share the same politics as them and then lose their minds, like wow calling me a lesbian is not the gag you think it is not is it an insult, bad news my fine ass.
Mind you, this is my life. You people did not come upon some secret thing. I posted it myself, and I let my friends post it because guess what? It’s probably shocking, but can you imagine that this is my life, and I’m an adult, and I can do whatever I like?” she wrote.

Angel further noted that she is not homophobic, and because people tag something bad doesn’t mean she has to agree with their point of view.
She concluded by saying that at the end of the day, we will all die someday, and everyone’s opinion will be dead and gone with them.
“And that is shocking again; I am not homophobic, and did you guys also know that because you think something is bad doesn’t mean the other person shares the same beliefs as you?
Did you guys also know that we will die one day,, and your opinions will be nothing more than a whisper caught in the wind? Shocking I know,” she added.
