Popular comedian and ex-reality star, Deeone, has revealed what he thinks about obtaining a second citizenship. This is coming after famous influencer, Tunde Ednut, celebrated being confirmed as an American citizen.
Speaking via his social media page, Deeone said that while he congratulates Tunde for his impressive milestone, he shouldn’t forget that Nigeria shaped his career and financial success.
According to him, being a citizen of another country is not a bad thing, but the fact of the matter is that the Nigerian passport is still the best you can have as a Nigerian.
He then urged fellow citizens to end their desperation to become a citizen of another country, stressing that they should refrain from going out of their way to make it happen.
Deeone concluded by saying he doesn’t consider such news an achievement because being a Nigerian in Nigeria is an incomparable experience.
